Beach Days That Last All Day
The beaches are the center of the action on St. Simons Island during July and August. Visitors flock to the shoreline early in the morning for peaceful walks and return later for swimming, sandcastle building, and soaking up the sun – with sunscreen of course!
The wide beaches during low tide also create plenty of space for biking, jogging, and beachcombing. And, the warm ocean temperatures make it one of the best times of year to enjoy the water. East Beach and Massengale Park are our most popular and offer ample parking.
