Arthur J. Moore Methodist Museum
Epworth by the Sea is proud to feature the Moore Museum, located on our beautiful grounds and open for all to enjoy. Explore the history of Methodism and its founder, John Wesley. Exhibits highlight local Island history and explain Methodism from Wesley to the present. The museum is home to the Largest Nativity Collection in the Southeast, open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free.
St. Simons Lighthouse Museum
St. Simons Island Lighthouse, Keeper's Dwelling Museum and Maritime Museum at the Historic Coast Guard Station. Mon.-Sat. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sun. 1:30-5 p.m. Last climb 4:30 p.m. The Maritime Museum closes from 12-1 p.m. Mon.-Sat.
