World War II Home Front Museum
Dedicated to preserving the stories of the home front during World War II, this museum takes you on an educational journey through interactive exhibits and personal narratives. The Museum is housed in the Historic St. Simons Coast Guard Station, built in 1936. In 1942 the crew from this station rescued survivors of two American ships torpedoed by a German U-boat 13 miles off St. Simons Island. Visitors of all ages will be inspired by the stories of ordinary Americans doing their part to win the war.

Island Players Community Theater
The Island Players have been entertaining locals and visitors alike for over 70 years with a variety of productions ranging from classic plays to contemporary dramas and comedies.
