1. Being in the Great Outdoors
Long green fairways and wide-open skies are just the backdrop for the game of golf. Whether you’re an expert or a beginner, you can feel the healing power of nature while you engage in this one-of-a-kind game.
2. Time Management
Golf can be practiced in all sorts of increments, from 20 minutes working on putting to entire days out on the green.
3. A Game Duplicities
Swing slow and the ball goes fast; look down and the ball goes up. Relax your grip for the most powerful swing. The harder you try, the worse you do. Part of getting a firm handle on your golf game is learning to let go of fear and anxiety. We can all use more of that in our lives!
4. Golf for Everyone
Golf is a game that can be played by multiple generations within the same family. Three-year-olds and eighty-year-olds can benefit from the same tips or simple songs that help to teach the fundamentals of the game. As a grandparent myself, I love watching families come together on the golf course to play, spend quality time and relax outdoors.
5. Get in the Zone
There’s nothing quite like that feeling when you get into the zone and you’re experiencing the effortless, fluid power that sends the ball rocketing into the sky.
